Please help us to support those who are committed to serving the dying.
From the inception of our program, Companioning the Dying: Opening Fully to Living, our goal has been to keep tuition low in order make it as affordable as possible, especially to the many of limited financial means who wish to take the program. We have been able to achieve that goal in part because of a significant amount of donated services and facilities necessary to support our program. While extremely grateful for these generous gifts, we also realize that we cannot assume that these donations of services and facilities will always be available. While we have made modest increases in our tuition in recent years, we are practically limited in how much we can raise tuition and still keep the program accessible.
We therefore invite you to consider making a financial contribution to Companioning the Dying, Inc. to help us ensure that the program and related offerings will be available for future companions. Contributions received will be used primarily to meet the following immediate and long-term needs:
- To provide scholarships for participants in need of financial assistance;
- To underwrite guest speakers for workshops or similar offerings in support of graduates and the general public;
- To allow us to compensate as needed for some basic services presently being donated;
- To begin building a financial reserve fund to help sustain the program in the long term and provide funds for unforeseen expenses the program and organization might encounter.
Please know that contributions of any amount are welcome and deeply appreciated.
Companioning the Dying, Inc. (CTD) is qualified as a tax-exempt charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Accordingly donations made to CTD are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
